So I have 3 YOE and work at Square as an SE2, and graduated from a pretty bad school I think right before the economy plummeted. Got very lucky. I am also 27.
I have for the past year have tried to help my cousins apply, build their resume, tried to get them referrals, but they constantly get rejected, and one even gave up and starting working for a local accounting firm.
Is it that bad, or has the selection process changed? I am not involved with the new grad communities on discord as Reddit as I used to be, but I’m tryna get a feel if this is just a common problem throughout or if the market is overall improving.
Thank you again!
