Why do people say “you’re too old to do X thing” /u/992x No such thing as stupid questions

I can’t understand it.

For me I have noticed this with two things. 1. When I mention I sleep with plushies. (I mean full on cuddling).

1. When I mention that sometimes I like to relax by playing with my plushies/Legos/other toys I still have.

Can’t I enjoy my life how I wish.
