There was another interesting post with a 10 year old Red Wing shoe.
This is my 13 year old (going 14!) Wolverine 1000 Mile boot. I’ve worn them from day one from Autumn to Spring. I believe I had them resoled five times already. This is my second pair of laces since the original waxed ones broke around year 6 or seven. For this “photoshoot” I didn’t clean them. I took them from the rack as dirty as they are. 🙂
The only cleaning I do is wipe them with a moist rag from time to time and use some dark brown Burgol leather cream (that stuff smells amazing).
It is by far my most comfortable shoe as it has been molded perfectly into the shape of my feet. The leather has become ultra-soft despite it’s thickness.
