Clark’s Originals Desert Mali Hardened crepe sole /u/19JD83 /r/malefashionadvice

I have a question for the pros.

I have a pair of Clarks Originals Desert Mali boots.

Last winter, I left them in my cool basement and didn’t wear them.

Now, I pull them to my closet but the crepe sole is very hard and stiff.

Has this happened to anyone? Anyone have any thoughts on a fix for this?
