I’m currently casually sleeping with a guy and the sex is insanely good. We tried dating last summer and slept together a few times but it didn’t work out and then we lost contact. I saw him on a night out recently and ended up going home with him, we’ve been casual ever since.
He isn’t the most attractive man I’ve ever been with and dating just didn’t work for us. He got quite clingy and I’m someone who likes my space. He can also be quite childish and I found it annoying sometimes.
My question is, why does sex with him hit so differently when we don’t work out in a dating sense?
Everyone seems to say it’s chemistry, trust and the relationship that you have with each other that makes it good; but we don’t have much of a relationship at all. In fact, we kind of fell out when we stopped dating. We’re not doing anything different really, just good ol’ sex, but it feels incredible and I never want to stop having sex with him.
I’m just a little confused really because where do we go from here? We’re meant to be casual for a short while but when I really think about it, I never want to lose him or our sex.
Tldr; why is sex with him the best I’ve ever had even though we don’t work as a couple?
