Man on flight was removed by TSA and Sheriff due to security threat. How can I find out more info? /u/That_Union_1105 No such thing as stupid questions

Early flight this morning on the east coast. We sat on the tarmac for about 45 minutes and were running behind due to de-icing planes and other delays. Moments before we were to take off, the pilot comes on and says we need to return to the gate due to a security threat. As we approached the gate, the pilot came back on and said he was informed we need to be moved to an “isolated & secure location” and could not go to the gate. We get towed to the position, and half a dozen men board the plane. A sherif, and several men in all black loaded to the gills with multiple guns. They were all constantly scanning the plane while two moved to the guy 3 rows behind me and removed him from the plane, along with his bag. Several teams then combed and scan every square inch of the two seats (he was alone) and the overhead cabin. They also asked the flight attendants and the people nearby what he had touched, where else on the plane he could have gone, etc.

My wife & I were in the back originally, but asked if we would like to move to front to balance out the flight b/c it wasn’t full. Lucky us? Anyway I obviously got a first hand view of everything and was able to hear a lot of what was going on. The last strange part was they needed to get all his checked bags off the flight. He checked 4 bags.

I’m dying to know more. Obviously there won’t be anything yet as this happened hours ago, but where would I even look? Can I request information? If it is major, will it be hidden on whatever pretense they like? It’s potentially the craziest story/experience of my life and I need an ending.

I don’t want to get more specific than that due to the chance that it was a mistake or misunderstanding and the person went through what I assume was a very traumatizing experience despite being innocent. But hopefully there’s enough detail to explain this was far from an ordinary security check.
