Title, I’m 23 and have been thinking of getting a vasectomy, couple reasons, biggest one being obviously is I don’t want kids and don’t want a scare, but also because I don’t want a future partner or fling to have to take plan b and want extra protection with a condom. I have two coworkers who fairly consistently take plan b and while I’m glad it exist….it’s seems pretty awful from what I’m told and it last for a while vs me just getting snipped and a partner or fling almost never having to worry about it.
Is my reasoning wrong? I’ve brought it up with friends and I’ve been told it will make me effeminate and I’ve been made fun of for it, even some women when talking about it thought it was weird.
Is it? Those who’ve had one how was it?
