9 months and no call backs/ Advice on path forward /u/wasmiester CSCQ protests reddit

I have been unemployed since April and its been exhausting in every sense of the word. I have applied to around 1000s of companies with only getting “unfortunately” replies. I was able to get 2 interviews but one ended up hiring from within and the other didn’t like how I did the assessment (they didn’t like how i handled the file naming or testing modules. I’ve gotten for feedback and will be implementing it going forward).

I’m putting my anonymous resume down for review and context [resume](https://postimg.cc/HcX7T35n)

Any idea of how the market is looking in early to mid 2025? ik its unpredictable but interest rates going down has to a plus right?
Should I stop applying for jr positions and apply higher?

Also needed advice about if “Masters in engineering for CS and electrical” is worth it. Since I’m not getting any call backs and the market is bad i thought I would wait it out by getting a masters. I’m signed up as a non degree seeking student. I hope to get my grades up and get some references(yes they are mandatory apparently) by doing some courses in the program then apply for admission when they open up next year in September. Its kind of a gamble as ill need a massive jump in GPA. Of course if i find work before then ill drop it. Maybe certs would be a better use of my time?
