Why are there no good Gladiator games? I’m looking for a Gladiator management/combat game that’s not turn-based.
Seems like it would be a pretty simple concept to implement. You buy slaves to add to your roster. You train them. You equip them with weapons/armor. Then fight in the arena. Then use your earnings to improve your roster. Rinse and repeat.
The only games I can find that are sort of like this are either games like ‘Age of Gladiators’, which is turn-based. Or games like ‘We who are about to die’ which has cartoonish graphics, jello-like physics, and it’s only one gladiator instead of a roster of gladiators.
