I’m curious, what does this mean? Usually I get invited to an interview where the company’s recruiter introduces the company and I introduce myself, then the recruiter says they will forward my resume to the hiring manager(s). Then, I usually hear nothing back. In contrast, during my new grad and internship recruiting this rarely happened.
Does this mean my resume is always good enough for the recruiter but not the hiring manager? Or, that my answers to why I’m looking for a job (laid off) are bad? For some more context, I have a strong resume for my years of exp, but I have less than 2.
