NYC Winter jacket – bomber style or another more cropped style /u/Qoptop /r/malefashionadvice

Hi, I am looking for a winter coat and all the ones I want happen to be pretty popular in NYC and expensive. I am looking for something in more of a bomber style, so reference examples would be the Canada Goose Chilliwack, Moose Knuckles bomber, or the Mackage Dixon Bomber. I prefer brands with less visible branding. I like a higher neck/hood collar instead of the flap enclosures. I am also open to Shearling bombers. The one from Spier and Mackay seems ok, but I have no experience with that brand and I’m not sure if the wool will be enough for winter. I guess my budget would be somewhere around $700 or lower. Thanks.

EDIT: Although not a bomber, I’ve considered buying something like the Iron Heart Deck Jacket. It’s a bit pricey, but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews.
