Steam client only plays static when trying to watch store videos /u/DiamoNNNd1337 Steam on Reddit

Does anybody know a fix for the above? Both Steam and the Webhelper are set to max in volume mixer and the trailer videos aren’t muted nor is the slider all the way to the left. In advanced audio settings, I changed the output to all my different devices, but I get 0 volume on everything apart from my headset, which only plays static when selected.

I have re-installed Steam (which got rid of my icons 🙄) but I’m still having the same issue. It works okay in the browser.
