After completing the onsite I received an offer for monetization for an L4 MLE role in NYC, without having to do a team match phase. Compensation is unknown unless I accept the offer. Recruiter also said I can’t talk to the HM unless I accept the offer first. If I reject then I can enter a traditional team matching phase where I can see other teams and talk to HMs first. The recruiter said team matching could take anywhere from 1-3 months but my interview results will not expire if it takes longer.
I’m not sure what to do as 100% of sources I’ve seen have said to avoid monetization.
