I was watching Futurama and saw they also did this bit and wondered if they came up with it first. But then I thought, “Wait, I bet this is a Star Trek thing!” And yup, it was lol /u/YeahMarkYeah South Park

The bit seemed a bit too oddly specific for Futurama to come up with it and never use it again. Also, I just couldn’t see Trey and Matt taking their idea like that.
