For example, I took my dragon bow against fatalis earlier today and as I tried shooting his head, I see the damage numbers (<20) in grey. Then I shot his body and there I got the orange damage numbers (25 to 40) So I thought his head did not the best elemental hitzones and his body was where I should aim.
Now as I was going through kiraniko’s monster guide on fatalis, it says fatalis has the highest elemental hitzones value on its head, followed by the forelegs and then the chest and the highest raw hitzones value for ranged on chest and forelegs.
I read somewhere that the damage numbers we see on screen is the added value of raw and elemental.
So if I see higher damage numbers when I hit the best raw hitzones and lower damage numbers when I hit the best elemental hitzone with my elemental weapon, should I get the orange numbers by hitting the raw hz or should I ignore the numbers and just keep hitting the best elemental hz?
Sorry for the text wall, I felt I couldn’t explain clearly otherwise. Thank you in advance for your time!
