I have ARFID and a lot of allergies (which make the arfid worse). So I have been mainly eating fishsticks and cereal for the past 8 years or so. Now I don’t struggle as much with trying foods outside of my safe foods as other people with arfid. But it takes a lot mentally to even consider making something not safe essentially.
I think if someone were to make the food for me, that would remove the barrier in eating healthier (which hopefully would help my mental state stabilise). I tried meal delivery services like Frive, but it is hard to exclude all of my allergies from the meals. While I won’t die from eating them, depending on the amount I will get anything ranging from an itchy throat to hives on my mouth; so I’d rather avoid that.
I looked at take out, but similar issues, it is hard to find a healthy food takeout that also doesn’t contain my allergens.
Do more specific private chef services exist?
