I got my conservative Christian mom to finally watch an episode with me… /u/laughingtraveler South Park

And she loved it. Didn’t care for the cursing but really enjoyed the episode. I showed her the strong woman episode, where strong woman completes against the Randy Savage guy pretending to be a chick and she really enjoyed. So much so we had a long discussion about afterwards and then she asked me to show her more, to which I showed her the episode when Cartman pretends to be trans and the economic recovery one too. She really enjoyed the nuances in the humor and even considered showing it to her friends which I don’t think it’s a great idea but definitely a funny one. She’s looking forward to seeing more.

Does anyone else have a story on being able to change someone’s mind about South Park and which episodes convinced them that there’s more to this show than just poop jokes and cursing?
