Help me understand people who eat other people’s luches at the office. /u/ShibaRookie No such thing as stupid questions

I used to think this was just a televisions trope or a myth or something, but apparently there are actually people who steal other peoples lunch in the office. Why do they do this? Isn’t it very easy to get caught?

Does this only happen in the US or also in other countries?
