What are the most disturbing bits of environmental story-telling you’ve found in Skyrim? /u/Practical-Owl-4877 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Skyrim’s is masterfully designed when it comes to having certain objects arranged in ways that suggest a story, and while some are amusing, others made me pause in horror and think “wow, something really morbid must have happened in here”.

I can recall two from the top of my head right now:

In Honorhall Orphanage, there is a small, inconspicuous room, with only a few bits of straw inside and three sets of shackles on the wall. I mean, Grelod is a total hag, but damn.

In Bloodlet Throne there is this room with a table in the center and a female vampire sitting by it. On top of the table, there are plates and bloody human bones. The first time I played Skyrim in xBOX 360 years ago, I recall it also including children’s clothes on top of it, which really troubled me. This seems to have been removed in more recent versions of the game, because I’ve never seen it again.

I’m curious, what were your moments? Which bits of environmental story-telling caused the same type of reaction?
