That Skyrim “itch” /u/Megacat_ The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

What is it about Skyrim keeps me coming back? Once or twice a year, I get this keep yearning for exploring and walking around Skyrim; looking forward to seeing all the weapons again, the foliage, weather & environments.

As far as I’m concerned, Skyrim has some of the best art direction I’ve experienced in a game and living in the world feels like a strange fever dream and it keeps calling me back.

A few other games trigger this in me, namely Mass Effect and a few others; all with equally striking worlds.
