The upvote/downvote system combined with the demographic of the reddit community mean that popular ideas no matter how stupid and shitty will get upvoted (90% of the time it’s based on how meme worthy it is) and ideas that people don’t want to hear but are important for longevity and long term enjoyment will get downvoted and buried into obscurity. You shouldn’t rely on a bunch of redditors to dictate how you develop the game – and just because there is popular opinion about something doesn’t mean it’s the right decision.
