I (33f) just found out I have HSV-2. I am married, have been for over 3 years and had my first outbreak last June (2023). I had NO idea what it was, I immediately went to Dr and he NEVER said anything about herpes! I just recently had another outbreak and decided it was herpes. My husband has been INSISTING it is not… I went and got tested. (As it said on google only way to get tested accurately is in an active breakout)I got the results back today. It IS HSV2. I apparently have a very mild case, i dont really understand that. It is HIGH on my buttocks/buttcrack. Like literally almost where my buttcrack meets back. I am FREAKING TF OUT. I FEEL DISGUSTING, I truly believe I will never be clean again. I was diagnosed with OCD& autism last year, to say this has me FUCKED up is the understatement of the century. How can my husband ever look at me the same way???? I am dirty, tainted, forbidden. I can’t comprehend the idea of spreading this to him. He is an angel, I am a whore. I can’t fathom this. I am FALLING APART. I want to light my skin on fire and watch myself burn up. How do you COPE?????
