My boyfriend of 3 months has been doing this thing where he starts grinding his morning wood against me while moaning loudly early in the morning when he wants to have sex. We’re both 28. Our sex life is wonderful except for this.

I am not a morning sex person, I prefer night time sex, but I have compromised in the past because he said he prefers morning sex. I said I’m fine with it once I wake up, but I need time to wake up fully, brush my teeth, and get back in bed before I’m ready to engage in sexual activity. Otherwise I’m angry that I’m being woken up, and also feel super uncomfortable with him grinding against and groping my unconscious, vulnerable body.

I told him in the past that if he wants morning sex he has to seduce me into it once I’m fully awake by caressing me and kissing me gently. Not just dry humping me while I’m unconscious.

So far I’ve just been physically pulling away from him when he does this and trying to go back to sleep but he is not getting the hint. He practically chases me across the bed doing this. Later in the day he’ll even say “this morning I woke up so hard and I had to rub against you” and it makes me really uncomfortable.

I feel like I’m about to snap on him when he does it next time, and I want to be more mature about it. But I feel like bringing it up when everything else is going well seems a bit mean.
