So there’s this guy (M,27) I’ve (F,27) been casually seeing for the past months (8-9 months). We hooked up every once in a while but I’ve noticed pretty early on that he’s solely sexually attracted to me but apparently nothing more. He once told me he’s not looking for a relationship currently.
I still thought maybe I could change his mind over time by making myself less available, changing things about my appearance, trying to be more successful in my job etc. But as devastating as it seems, a lot of time has passed and he’s apparently still not that into me.
We’re friendly and talk sometimes and every once in a while he tries to hook up with me again but that’s it. He just doesn’t seem to wanna date me. And I also know that he’s also hooking up with several other girls which hurts ofc.
Honestly, I am suffering a lot, a lot of the time I feel pretty self-conscious now and I’ve repeatedly asked myself why he just doesn’t want anything serious with me.
So how do you deal with rejection? I am kind of not taking it well..
