My partner (39M) gets angry, yells, mocks and berates me (38F) for not wanting to do things I’m uncomfortable with. /u/non__linear Sex

Even when I tell him that it makes me uncomfortable and the reasons why, he gets angry with me. He will mock and berate me until it turns to yelling. We have so many arguments over it and it makes me feel disrespected and unheard, and that my feelings and discomfort do not matter. He always wants me to do things I don’t want to do and eventually I try them just so he will leave me alone about it and to show him that I put in the effort to try, even when it’s a shameful, negative experience for me.

Is this normal behavior of a man? How do I deal with this? Am I supposed to just give in to my own detriment to keep the peace?
