How to deal with girlfriend’s new libido? /u/goldindamind Sex

At the beginning of our relationship, around the first 6 months, our sex drives matched pretty well and we’d have crazy good sex every day, if not multiple times a day.

However, she started birth control some time ago and that basically destroyed her libido. We went from having sex everyday to having sex once a week, and even then it seemed less passionate than before.

Four months ago she stopped taking birth control, and her sex drive has gradually come back, but it’s nowhere where it used to be. We’ll have sex 2-4 times a week now, usually with me initiating.

It’s so frustrating because every time I bring it up, it’s as if the solution has already been found; she always talks about how she had no sex drive on birth control and how she feels like she’s at a normal libido now. And if I bring up how her sex drive used to be, she’ll get angry and ask why the amount of sex we have isn’t enough.

Even my suggestions of natural remedies to boost libido such as maca root powder were met with questions like “why do you want to change me?” or “do we not have enough sex for you now or what?”

What should I do? Aside from breaking up, because I really do love this girl and I see marrying her in the future.
