Hi All!
Hope all is well! I’m writing in connection to a research study that I’m conducting as a doctoral candidate in the Health and Behavior Department at Teachers College, Columbia University. I’m seeking participants to join my study named “Investigating the Effects of Heteronormativity and [Toxic] Masculine Norms on Disclosure and Concealment of Non-gay Identifying and Behaviorally Bisexual Men.”
My research will explore the social hardships of “non-gay identifying” and “behaviorally bisexual” men (men with attraction or relation towards men or both men and women but may not identify as gay) in a heteronormative and [toxic] masculine world. This study will expand our knowledge on the motivations these men have for disclosing or concealing their sexuality and how these decisions impact their overall health and well-being.
Participation involves 5 brief surveys, which may take 15 minutes to answer, at most. Aside from the survey, you have an option for a very brief “audio only Zoom interview” for a greater chance to win in the lottery drawing (only interviewing 5-10 candidates). This interview should only take 15-20 minutes, at most. More details in the description of study link below.
Adult males (18+ years old) only. If you have any questions, I can be reached at [dm3061@tc.columbia.edu](mailto:dm3061@tc.columbia.edu). Many thanks!
