I’ve always been reserved when it comes to sex, is it worthwhile to keep that mindset post-relationship? /u/67ThrowAwayIG Sex

I’m a 21M and currently only have one body which was my ex. I’m confident when it comes to sex itself and have no issues with lasting a decent time. However, as I approach one year since my last relationship I’m starting to wonder if saving myself for my next partner will truly be worth it?

I found a lot of intimacy and love in saving myself for my previous partner who was my first on everything, but sometimes I wonder if the right woman will appreciate me waiting or if people don’t care as much nowadays?

While I could easily get into hookup culture I’ve always found it gross and even a FWB situation feels weird to me. That being said I’m in my early 20s I’ll be soon approaching my workout goals which is a domino affect for everything else. I’ll have a better version of me for whoever I sleep with next or (ideally) a partner. It’s nearly been a year of “waiting” if you want to call it that. What’re your thoughts? I don’t know if I’m overthinking this or what.
