I’m [30sM] recently out of a long term relationship and needing to use condoms again. Been seeing someone new and we’ve been using condoms for PIV, but not oral. I stopped to put a condom on the other night and she asked why since she’s on BC and we’ve already given each other oral without protection – I didn’t really have an answer. She wasn’t against the condom or anything, just curious as to my reasoning.
Have I been willfully stupid by just ignoring the need for protection because I enjoy the act of giving/receiving oral? Is there any less of a risk with unprotected oral as opposed to PIV or is that wishful thinking?
