Scared of getting STD testing, would appreciate level headed responses /u/throwaway1812967 Sex

Hi, so I was a nerdy kid in high school and college. Since graduating, especially post COVID, I became more confident in myself. I’ve worked out, dressed better and just feel more confident in who I am as a person.

As you might guess, this has led me to have more casual sex than I ever had before. It’s great, but I’m still getting used to this feeling.

I’m scared of getting STD Testing. I always use a condom, except for 2 times when I was drunk and the girl persuaded me because she was on an IUD.

Is it weird to be scared of getting tested? I think I’m just afraid of a horrible result that will derail this — though I’m not sure why I would expect such a result.

Please advise/calm my nerves
