The man I’m with now is amazing in every way, but I recently found something and I’m not sure how to feel about it. For obvious reasons, I can’t talk to anyone else about it, so I’d like some opinions here…
He and his ex had a very different sex life than what he and I have and they did lots of role play. Typically they’d talk it out in text first throughout the day and then act on it at night. So, I read the texts where she tells him she wants to do daddy/daughter stuff. She tells him that she wants him to write her a story, with them as the characters, except that he’s her daddy and she’s five or six years old. So, he does it. He’s a writer, so he writes an elaborate story, just like she asked. It starts with him just looking at her and progressively turns into them doing sexual stuff to each other.
I’m extremely bothered by this and he doesn’t understand why I don’t understand where he’s coming from when he explains it to me. He says he can see why it would bother me, but in the story and in his mind, it was always HER, and not a “child”. But the story is about him and a child, so no, I can’t differentiate. He says it’s not his proudest moment, but he just did what his wife wanted. I know people role play daddy/daughter stuff all the time, but the way it was written out just made it seem worse. Like a line said something about how she was outgrowing all of her nightgowns, but he didn’t want to buy new ones because he liked how her little booty looked in them. And one said something like he started noticing he’d get hard when he was bouncing her in his lap. And one said when she was around four, she started learning it felt good to rub herself, so he’d jerk off while watching her hump pillows. Very detailed stuff like that.
I have children (not with him) and one of them is a girl. We have been together for three years and he’s never done anything to make me feel even slightly uneasy around my kids. Again, I’ll reiterate that he’s never once in any aspect of our lives, said anything to make me think he’s interested in sexualizing children. Since I’ve never done any of this kind of role playing, am I reading too much into this or would it concern any of you guys?
