I last year split up from a 20 year marriage, sex with my husband was decent, nothing amazing but I did almost always orgasm. My ex husband wasn’t a great kisser, and wasn’t particularly gifted at turning me on but during penetration I would almost always orgasm. I have just begun seeing another man and the relationship has very recently progressed to sex. He is a great kisser, his foreplay is fantastic and I get really really turned on by him, much more than I ever did with my husband, but I haven’t actually orgasmed during sex with him. Is it a compatibility thing, it’s early days and I feel awkward broaching it with him because it’s clear I enjoy our time together but that final little extra thing is just missing. I’m kind of wondering whether to finish things with him because although he is attentive during sex once he’s climaxed he has just assumed job done.
