Taking too long to finish? /u/relevantlibrarian777 Sex

So after about 6 years of marriage, my wife finally told me that she thinks I take too long to finish in bed. Our sex together is usually not great on her end as she finds it painful and we aren’t exactly sure why.

We all hear about guys that finish too quickly, but taking too long is a new one on me. I get that this would mean that she would be in pain for longer, but I don’t have a clue what to do to fix the amount of time I take, or her pain for that matter.

Is this something that anyone else has dealt with? It’s causing some arguments and hurt feelings between me and my wife and I would love to be able to fix it.
